Soft Washing

Soft washing is the use of water-based, biodegradable chemicals to break down dirt and grime, remove bug nests and webs, kill mold, mildew, algae and bacteria – leaving the surface clean and sanitized.

Soft washing consumes only one-third of the water that pressure or power washing does, lasts 4 - 6 times longer, and does not deteriorate or damage the surface like power washing often can. Soft washing also does so much more than pressure washing because it does more than simply clean your roof. The products used in the SoftWash System do not just clean; they penetrate, sterilize, and get rid of the root of the issue.

Treating your roof with soft washing is more like insect control – the combination of safe, eco-friendly chemicals guarantee that the microbes that cause buildup are not just partially swept away, but eradictaed completely.

Roof Cleaning and More

Soft washing can be carried out on a multitude of surfaces where algae and bacteria grow. The same bacterium that causes black streaks on roofs can likewise grow on:

  • Concrete
  • Brick
  • Tile
  • Wood
  • Vinyl Siding
  • Aluminum
  • And more…

If you're searching for a method eliminate what's cultivating on the surface of your roof, deck or fence, break the cycle of bothersome pressure washing and use a solution that can remove the problem 100%.

Biodegradable, Eco-Friendly Chemicals in SoftWash

Oftentimes, people hesitate when they hear the word "chemicals," but it's truly not such a dirty word. In truth, everything is a chemical, even water (hydrogen dioxide).

The chemicals used in soft washing help break down contaminants and infestations, so they can be easily rinsed away. They do all the work without all the pressure. Our chemicals are water based, ship non-hazardous, and are biodegradable, meaning they break down into carbon and water within twenty (20) days after their introduction into the environment; leaving no contaminants behind.

4 Biggest Reasons to Choose Soft Washing

There are a lot of reasons to select soft washing over pressure or power washing, however here are our biggest reasons:

  1. Alternative to pressure washing
Power washing creates erosion and strips away materials that may have been loosened by decay or aging. It might be suitable for some tasks and not others.

  2. It actually treats the infestation
Your home or business isn't just dirty – it's contaminated. Regular pressure washing simply gets rid of the outer layer of this biomass and does not fix the root of the issue, leaving your surface vulnerable again not long after power washing is completed.

  3. No damage from pressure
Poorly trained or unskilled pressure washers can cause serious damage to a roof or other surfaces, specifically if it's older to begin with.

  4. More sustainable cleaning option
Pressure washers utilize from 3 to 8 gallons of water per minute (gpm). In one hour of cleaning a pressure washer can use from 180 gallons upwards to 480 gallons of water. Conversely, soft washing only applies approximately 60 gallons of cleaning solution, which is comprised of about 40 gallons of water.

The cleaning solution is so powerful that it lasts 4 – 6 times longer than power washing. Making it more viable for the environment and your wallet.
